Global Trade Alliance USA Inc: Launched in alliance with GTPA to drive inclusive trade and supply chain opportunities for SMEs in the USA. The alliance has been established to advance global trade research and educational efforts to empower SME communities and foster international partnerships.
Unlock Your Business's Digital Potential: Partnering with the City of Sydney, GTPA presented a transformative capability development program tailored for Sydney businesses. From optional skills assessments to personalised mentoring and masterclass workshops, all aimed at supporting business on a journey to accelerate their digital success.
Solomon Islands Business Mission to Australia: GTPA spearheaded a tailored program to facilitate business connections and capacity-building initiatives for SMEs from the Solomon Islands. Leveraging extensive expertise and strategic partnerships, we curated a comprehensive two-day program to enhance trade opportunities.
Export Training for Solomon Islands Business: In collaboration with Nathan Inc and USAID, GTPA delivered three 2-day specialised export training workshops for SMEs in the Solomon Islands. The goal was to empower business with essential export skills and strategies to thrive in international markets.
Supply Wise Toolkit Series: To help businesses navigate the complexities of supply chain management and market expansion the GTPA has developed a comprehensive Supply Wise toolkit. Developed in partnership with leading institutions, these guides offer practical insights and case studies to help businesses optimise their supply chain operations.
UK-Australia FTA Study: Addressing Market Access Barriers: GTPA partnered with the British High Commission Canberra to prepare a comprehensive, analytical report on market access barriers potentially affecting a UK-Australia Free Trade Agreement. Leveraging its extensive network and expertise, GTPA provided valuable insights for policymakers.
State Government - Export Skills Program: In partnership with the Victorian Government GTPA's comprehensive export skills program, offering 24 training workshops across four streams to equip businesses with essential skills in export, e-commerce, virtual trade missions, and freight & logistics. With a track record of high participant satisfaction, our programs ensure that businesses are well-prepared for global trade success. The GTPA delivered two programs over two years.
e-commerce: Roadmap to Success: To help navigate the digital landscape, in partnership with the NSW Government the GTPA developed an introductory and advanced e-commerce capacity-building program. From self-assessment tools to webinar-based training and mentoring, the program empowers businesses to harness the power of e-commerce for global trade. Gain access to incentives and credentials to facilitate safe and secure online transactions. The GTPA delivered two different programs over two years.
Building Resilience in Global Supply Chains within APEC: In conjunction with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Australia and the APEC secretariat GTPA developed a project aimed at enhancing the resilience and adaptability of multinational corporations and SMEs participating in global value chains within the APEC region. The project contributed to informed data analysis and recommendations for strengthening global supply chains.
Building Integrity into Global Value Chains: A collaboration between GTPA and Bloomberg New Economy Solutions in New York City to establish a global coalition for building integrity in global value chains. The work continues over multiple years to contribute to the development of overarching standards to promote compliance and mitigate risks in global value chains, benefiting both MNCs and SMEs.
Toward Building Resilient Supply Chains: A Possible Role of Investment Policy Forum: In collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan, and commissioned academic researchers, the Global Trade Professionals Alliance (GTPA) spearheaded a research initiative aimed at APEC economies. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan also implemented by GTPA hosted an interactive two-day workshop to collaborate and discuss how APEC members can work toward building resilient supply chains and explore the possible role of the investment policy.
