GTPA would like to thank Paul Zalai and the team at Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) for working to ensure COVID-19 Air Freight Funding. This is great news.
In response to the Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) advocacy to the National Covid-19 Coordination Commission, Paul was acted last night by the advisor of the Senator the Hon Simon Birmingham (Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment) who stated that $110m in airfreight support initiatives will be provided to keep supply lines open for airfreight during the COVID-19 crisis.
